Facilities Questions/Concerns FoNVRC Postings
The indoor play space in the Noe Rec Center is a unique gem to this city in that is has a dedicated young child play area and can be rented out for small events. This multipurpose room not only houses a large gym for young child indoor play.
This room additionally has a state-of-the-art A/V system on the stage for theater/concerts as well as a large movie screen with a projector (please see the "Stage/Theater" section in the Areas of Interest for more information). Several times during the week this room is open to free play. Additionally, Rec and Park has developed a program schedule (please see the Programs section to learn more). The indoor play space can be rented out for birthday parties, movie screenings, theater events or concerts, etc. To reserve the space, please contact the center staff or Rec and Park reservations center at: 415.831.5520. In order to maintain the quality of this space as well as free play access, it is the community's responsibility to utlize the facilities and toys respectfully. This includes not being too rough on the toys, not allowing older children to play with the baby's toys, not eating in this room, cleaning up after yourself and the children.Contacts for Questions or Concerns - Questions about Hours & programs offered: Rec and Park: 415.970.8061 or click here

Stewardship Committee for FoNVRC & Postings FoNVRC is working with the community to gather feedback and communicate needs and wants to Rec and Park. Due to the fact that this indoor play space is so highly used and a truly unique space in the city, our group is always working to ensure that Rec and Park is providing programs that are desired and art and toy supplies that are well-used. Jessica Wallace chairs this committee for FoNVRC: "I volunteered to be the lead for this group because I too am a neighborhood mother and spend a lot of time both in the indoor and outdoor playspaces." Joining her are Nadya Ramsaroop and Amy Flanzer.
